A non-profit
organization of professionals dedicated to the safety of systems, products
and services, the System Safety Society has chapters
spanning the globe. The system safety concept focuses
on the application of systems engineering and systems management to
the process of hazard, safety and risk analysis. The Society is the
foremost organization specifically dedicated to the promotion
of the system safety concept at the local, national and international
level.
Through
its annual International System Safety Conference, along with local
dinner meetings, mini-symposia, and publications including the renowned
Journal of System Safety, the Society offers many benefits
to its members both personally and professionally. Membership
in the Society is open to anyone having an interest in or currently
involved in work related to system safety or an allied discipline.
The
Winners Circle Chapter serves safety professionals in
the states of Kentucky and Indiana, although others are welcome
